Bengals receiver Chris Henry has been suspended by new commissioner Roger Goddell 8 games for conduct detrimental to the league, Titans corner Adam "Pacman" Jones 16 games for not informing his team of two arrests. While on the severe side, the punishment does send a message to the players and fans. I know people who have been in trouble with the law, but not like these guys. If you look at the NBA, if they would have acted when the Portland Trailblazers were going wild alienating some of the best fans in sports, maybe everyone NBA players would be perceived in a more favorable light than NFL players and not the other way around.
